Clerk of Circuit Court - Meet the Clerk

Karen has been a resident of Hernando County since 1976 and has held the Office of Clerk of Circuit Court since her appointment by the Governor in 1988. She began her career in the Clerk's Office in the position of County Finance Director, from 1976 to 1987.

Karen earned a degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 1975.

Karen has been involved in local charities and organizations throughout her career, including the Rotary Club of Brooksville.
