A Look Back: 2012 to Now, a note from your Clerk

“To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.”  Winston Churchill

I think if you were to ask anyone on my team what one word defines my first two years in office that word would be change.  I am constantly asking questions of my team members looking for the “why” in everything that we do.  Our goal is that no one who interacts with our office ever leaves saying “typical government.” Customer service has been our primary focus with technology not far behind. We have re-organized (a few times) eliminating positions when possible or replacing them with higher level technology jobs and operations analysts. We have improved our court technology, official records software, and are in the process of implementing a financial imaging software that will make county finances completely transparent. I hope you agree that the Clerk’s Office is on track to provide you unmatched customer service and fulfill the hundreds of statutory duties in a manner that is efficient and effective.
